I offer equine therapy services using the model of Natural Lifemanship, which is a trauma-focused equine therapy.
Individuals are provided an opportunity to build a real relationship with a horse, while learning the skills necessary to develop and maintain healthy human relationships.
The process of equine therapy typically looks like an individual meeting a variety of horses and then working with a horse in a round pen or small arena. The work being done is meant to help you and the horse develop a trusting and connected relationship with one another.
After developing a trusting and connected relationship with your horse we are able to move into other types of equine therapy work which may include bare back mounted work or equine-connected EMDR.
